What is hypnosis?

To understand hypnosis, it is important to understand how the conscious and subconscious mind works. The conscious mind manifests as our automatic tendencies and personality. It can be smart, but it can also be impulsive and illogic.
Right underneath this superficial mind is the subconscious or inner mind and it is extremely powerful. The subconscious mind easily helps you to achieve your deeper objectives, whether it is to be thin, happy, or confident. In fact, the subconscious is the real you and it contains the answers to your queries as well as your own deep wisdom. The greater part of your authentic self is right underneath the conscious level, below your awareness, and it has a great impact on your conscious acts, thoughts, and feelings. Through hypnosis, I help you to harmonize your conscious and subconscious minds. And properly directed, hypnosis helps you to achieve more of your own potential.
Yet hypnosis is probably not what you expect it to be. In a hypnosis session your body and mind are very relaxed, but you simultaneously experience alertness. You do hear everything and throughout the session you have full control.
Let me tell you some facts. The first one in this—there is only one form of hypnosis. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. And it is the easiest and most natural thing in the world. All I can ever be for you or anyone else is a gentle guide. If you allow me to be your guide, I'll show you how to place yourself in a beautiful state of hypnosis, experiencing physical relaxation and mental alertness.
If you allow me to be your guide, I'll show you how to stay there until we're finished. Hypnosis is a 100% consent state fully controlled by you. Once your mind is clear and your objectives are set, which is done totally according to your wishes and ideas, then in very few sessions you can see remarquable results.
But how does hypnosis work?
During a hypnosis session, you remain awake, and completely in control of yourself and your actions. This amazingly simple process is remarkably efficient. Hypnosis creates a profound relaxed state which allows your mind to focus, effortlessly.
Hypnosis helps you to work with your issues in a relaxed environment, the certified hypnotist simply assists you attain your objective.
Hypnosis is tremendously useful for many issues, such as insomnia, weight loss, anxiety and stress, to gain more self-confidence, public speaking and more.
Willpower or the desire for changes are not enough if they are coming from the more superficial part of the mind and if the subconscious mind is not aligned, as when individuals struggle to overcome an issue for years, for instance. We simply assist you to connect with your inner wisdom, with your deeper self, in order to allow you to access the solutions and generate the desired changes.
We do not assume to know what the client's issues truly are; we assume that only the client knows. The client is only to provide us with the issues they wish to work on. The solutions may not be easily accessible to the client without guided access to the deeper part of their minds.
Hypnosis is not psychology nor psychiatry; it simply employs empowering, positive suggestions and guidance to achieve the change desired by the client. Usually 3 or 4 sessions are sufficient. Often only one session suffice.

Directions from Ottawa to ManoSpa:
Take the Champlain Bridge (at Island Park Drive).
Turn right at the first light after the bridge, on Lucerne. This road follows the river.
You will drive for a minute or so, driving by 4 buildings (condos). After the last building count to 8 and look for the small white sign on a post on the ground. It is the second entrance after the 4 condos.
Turn left at the entrance where you will see the small white sign: "Entrée."
Directions from Hull to ManoSpa :
All busses drive by 731 Alexandre-Taché (in front of Moore farm). Go to 731 Alexandre-Taché and follow the path on the left side of the residence. The entrance is in the back.
By car, from Hull: Take a left turn on St-Dominique (at the Quickie and the STO Parking), then turn right on Lucerne. Continue on Lucerne going West, you will pass 2 small red brick buildings, and then you will right away see two small white signs : "Entrée".
